“A Towering Experience” is the story about a drummer named K.D. who moved from Florida to Los Angeles, California to “make it” in a band. As with so many bands trying to make it, the band breaks up and the other members return “home”. K.D. decides to stay in L.A. living in his 1973 Volkswagen van and gets a job working for Tower Records on Sunset Boulevard for 3 years while living in his van. His van gets towed and Tower Records goes out of business. The short story is a culmination of experiences that happened in the 3 years.
